Yes, better villains are a MUST. The best villains so far have been Dill and Ichy, mostly because they were so evil. They weren’t just looking for food. They seemed to enjoy the idea of hurting the gang. But I do agree that most of the “dumb” sharpteeth need to either grow some brains or be replaced with better villains.
In my headcanons, the two are former Friendly Sharpteeth. (Hence their ability to talk)
As for villains, yes, I do have some ideas. My most popular one is an evil Deinocherius who wants to rule the world and takes over the Great Valley from the inside. Admittedly, one of the major plot lines around him really tampers with the cannon of the 1st movie in that he had a hand in the death of Littlefoot’s mother. Somehow, he fought he before she ran into Sharptooth, was tail swatted away by Littlefoot’s mother moments before she encountered Shaprtooth, and, after Littlefoot’s mother ran off, confronted and attacked her again, making sure she couldn’t expose his sinister plans. He boasts that after he’s done with her, he’ll finish off Littlefoot (who was his real target). Littlefoot’s mother uses the last of her energy to tail swat him, seemingly to his death, but, about 20 years later, it is revealed that the villain survived and is now close to taking over the Great Valley.
