Reply To: who remembers Pac-Man World 2?
Me That Clyde boss was a nightmare. Liked Spooky’s theme the best, but Inky’s Saw was a close second. Still wondering why Spooky didn’t bother to fight Pac Man when he found him by the Wormwood Tree BEFORE Pac Man could get the golden fruit back to the tree in Pac Land and get that special coating.
Also, did Pinky have a crush on Pac Man? I found Haunted Boardwalk to be one of the hardest levles in the game (perhaps second only to Clyde.)
I got all the fruit on Nightcrawling except one and could never find it, despite searching (might be a glitch in the game of the version of the game (PS2 vs. XBox or something.))
I was able to get the things for all the mazes and beat them all.
I figured out one way to get around Clyde’s machine: just jump onto the edge and hang on and he’ll go around and around and usually miss you. (Learned that one on my own but later learned there was another way: that you could rev roll away to another island as soon as he started the machine, though, of course, that increases the risks of falling into the fire.) I kept sometimes being a daredevil and trying to get two butt bounces on Clyde at once to advance right to the next checkpoint, but it was hard to pull off as loads of times I missed the second time, got killed, and had to try it all over again.
I actually did get all the regular game tokens (there was one particular token in Magma Opus that was a nightmare to try and get but I finally got it.) I didn’t get all the bonus tokens though.
