Charlie B Barkem or whatever his full name is, is even worse than Pterano in LBT VII (Unlike Pterano, Charlie never seems to admit that he’d been wrong or that he should accept the consequences for his wrongdoings.) He and his pal Itchy (the Dachshund, not the Sharp Beak) live a pretty immoral life. Yet both of them somehow make it into dog heaven) as does even the villain Car Face (Also, as a side note, Big Lipped Alligator moment came from the original All Dog’s Go to Heaven movie.) Charlie just seems like, to put it mildly, a scoundrel, and I don’t mean of the Pterano or the Han Solo variety, but worse.
It’s just not generally a good idea to have your hero be little better morally than your villain, especially if your hero doesn’t reform at the end of the first movie in the series but keeps up his bad behavior in the sequel, and, as far as I know, doesn’t reform at the end of that one either.
