Grandpa Longneck's voice in movie XIV

I don’t know about you guys; but, I think Grandpa’s voice was really out of place for this sequel.

I agree. Mr. Threehorn’s wasn’t that bad, but Grandpa Longneck’s seemed too young.

Also, thought not related to XIV, I also thought Littlefoot’s voice in IX was out of place.

I hear that Kenneth Mars (the voice actor for Grandpa Longneck in the previous installments) died. I’d have to agree that his voice did sound pretty weird! Topsy sounded odd to me too, but not quite as much as Grandpa Longneck.

Sweet mother his voice was bad! It was like they just pulled some random homeless bum off the street and gave him a role. If there is another movie made I really hope they can that guy. Although Grandpa Longneck will never sound “right” unless voiced by Kenneth Mars, unfortunately that’s not an option (@Littlefoot is right about him passing away unfortunately). :sad_spike

I definitely agree that if they do more LBT movies, they need to find a better voice actor for Grandpa Longneck. But as Austin said, neither Topsy nor Grandpa Longneck would sound right unless they were voiced by John Ingle and Kenneth Mars, both of whom are dead :sad_spike
