Opinions on the 10th Movie?

I really liked the 10th movie because we saw Littlefoots father and it was interesting because a lot of dinos left the great valley (including the grownups). It was just a really unique movie because it wasn’t just the usual “gang saves the day” movie. I thought the longneck ceremony thing at the end was kind of weird, but I can live with that. I was a little disappointed because that was supposed to be the climax of the movie and just felt like a letdown. It was just a weird eclipse and nothing really happened. Supposedly the longnecks were supposed to prevent the sun from falling or something. It didn’t really make a lot of sense. But the rest of the movie was great.
The 10th movie was unique and I did like it. However it also felt a little off to me. It was the whole atmosphere of the movie, the colors, the lighting, and the drawing style that kind of threw me off. But it was a good story and we did see Littlefoot’s father for the first time so I see it as one of the better sequels.
The 10th movie was okay; apart from the first use of the term sleep story. I always found that term out of place in the Land Before Time universe.
I know it’s a nitpick; but, it’s a small one; that’s the only flaw I found with this movie.
I really liked it. It will always have a special place in my heart because I watched it for the first time the day after the eclipse a few weeks ago with no idea that it was about all the longnecks going to watch a solar eclipse!
The 10th movie is one of my favorites. It just had such a unique story and was pretty entertaining. I like a story with mystery, and I remember really wondering why all the longnecks were sharing the same dream the first time I watched it. The answer in the end was kind of like uhhh…okay I guess? It felt almost like an afterthought. Longnecks can’t hold the sun up in the sky. In fact, the sun isn’t “in the sky” at all. The Earth is orbiting the sun. It just didn’t make much sense to me, but I guess for the target audience it works.
Well, I cut them some slack on that, as for one thing it’s folklore, and for another, I don’t think sauropods/longnecks in real life knew that the earth orbits the sun (although I highly doubt they had folklore around solar eclipses, either), so I wouldn’t really expect the longnecks in LBT to know that either.
