Funny thing: I actually got commissioned by the GOF admins to recover images for them from Photobucket. I loved that banner! You go, Chomper!
The character that most intrigues me is Chomper. I feel that Universal took an interesting (at least long term) risk putting him into there. In particular, what exactly would Littlefoot do if the Sharptooth he raised became a regular Leaf Eater killing Sharptooth? His mother’s death was, mostly, out of his hands. But if Chomper kills someone’s mother, would he ever forgive himself for being nice to Chomper?
Gee, I don’t know about that one. I’m sure Chomper will start eating flatteeth at some point, as I doubt a sharptooth could exclusively live on insects (although given how Simba grew up living on insects, I could suspend my disbelief on that with Chomper a little). I’m really not sure how Littlefoot would feel about that. I also wonder how Chomper will feel about eating flatteeth. I don’t support the theory that he’s going to turn on the rest of the Gang, but how will he feel about eating other flatteeth? I really am not sure.
They probably would’ve demanded that Chomper be exiled from the Great Valley.
Do you think Littlefoot would have obeyed or tried to hide Chomper?
I’m not sure about that one. I could totally see him doing either. I’d probably lean towards trying to hide Chomper, as that would fit better in the context of the movie.
I’m going to start reading/writing LBT fanfic pretty soon, so maybe I can write some stuff like that. One of my ideas happens to be a prequel to the original movie, and another idea I have is to do a next-generation of LBT with the Gang and their kids. I’ll also probably be addressing the fates of some of the characters where we don’t know what happens to them (e.g. Ducky and Cera’s siblings). I’ll probably start a thread for my fanfic ideas.
Those are some interesting points you bring up. I think that we definitely would’ve seen more characters, both protagonists and antagonists, die. Here are some of my thoughts:
-At least a few yellow bellies wouldn’t have made it to Berry Valley in Wisdom of Friends
-Strut and Ozzy would’ve definitely died in Great Valley Adventure, as would’ve Rinkus and Sierra in Stone of Cold Fire
-Someone (perhaps from Tippy’s herd) very well might have frozen to death in The Big Freeze.
-The drought and/or fire probably would’ve claimed at least one life in Time of the Great Giving (I personally wouldn’t really mind if they’d killed off Hyp)
-My thoughts on Journey Through the Mists are that maybe Grandpa would’ve succumbed to his illness, maybe the Old One would’ve died, or maybe someone would’ve gotten lost in the Land of Mists. Or perhaps Archie would’ve gotten eaten by Dil and Ichy. I don’t really think Bluth would kill off Ali or anyone from the GangI’ll post more and/or edit this post as I think of more.
There are no LBT characters that I full-on hate, but my least favorite would have to be Rhett. I really hated Topsy as a kid, but now that I’m older, he’s grown on me a little. As for the yellow bellies, I like silly humor, so I don’t really mind them all that much.

Those are some really cool names that you guys have come up with!! Rose happens to be my last name, and Arianna is pretty similar to one that came to me to use for her: Arabella.
I am totally a Littlefoot X Ali shipper. I do kinda get why people ship Littlefoot and Cera, but I look at Littlefoot and Ali the same way I look at such pairs as Simba and Nala, Spirit and Rain, and Balto and Jenna. They are totally meant for each other!

I’m glad someone finally said it! It looks like Chomper just got into a car crash and the sky puffy behind him is his airbag deploying!
Pretty dope! I think it would be great as a Disney movie. I wish there were more fantasy movies with dragons as protagonists.
