My new anti-spam system is hard as nails.  This website gets over 200 spam bot attacks every single day, but my new “I’m Not a Robot” integration from Google makes it absolutely impossible for spambots to register on the site (and without registration, you can’t post or upload anything).  I’m very glad to say that since implementing this feature, there have been ZERO spam registrations.

Best of all, it’s easy on the user.  No more Captcha’s!  99% of the time all you have to do is check the box.  If Google is suspicious of your IP address,  you’ll be asked to choose from several different pictures to answer the questions (i.e. “Which photos include steak?”).  It’s a very clever system, and something that Google themselves use to stop spam cold.
