Even considering how Littlefoot lost his mother, to me it would seem out of character for his otherwise sweet nature to want to outright kill a newly-hatched Sharptooth, since Chomper was only a cute baby and hadn’t done anything yet.
That said, it also seemed odd to me that of the five kids, Littlefoot was the most insistent on caring for Chomper. If anything, it seems like Littlefoot should’ve been the most apprehensive about it. I think there was potential for some interesting character development there.
^That’s my feeling as well. Journey of the Brave’s underperformance seems to suggest that Universal isn’t in a hurry to make another movie. But on the other hand, the series has been such a long-runner already, and with the latest installment being fairly recent, it’s hard for me to imagine that there won’t be some sort of continuation at some point down the line. I am curious as to how long it’ll take, though. And whether it’ll manifest as a 15th movie, or else as a reboot of some sort, or something else entirely.
Scar strikes me as the more intelligent and cunning of the two. But yeah, I agree with Austin. In a direct battle, Shere Khan would probably come out on top.
I used to go by the handle “SunriseWarrior” on other sites. But I was never fully satisfied with that name and I wanted to change it to something else, yet still with a similar naming scheme. “StardustSoldier” eventually came to me and I begun using that instead, as I like it a lot better. Beyond that, however, there’s no real origin for the name. As in, it wasn’t something I got from a TV show or someplace else. It just popped into my head one day.
My current desktop, which I’ve had for a few years now, is Windows 7. I also have a slightly newer laptop which is Windows 10, my first time owning a computer with that operating system. I’d heard some bad things about Windows 10 from others, but I adjusted to it just fine.
This is such an awesome find! I’m so glad this surfaced. If the lost footage never shows up, then this at least is the next best thing.
It was really interesting to see all the new/extended scenes and other changed bits. There are definitely some things that were removed that I wish had been kept. Conversely, though, a few of the cuts I actually do agree with. I’d still love to see the uncut version of the film as much as any LBT fan, but all the same I do get why parts of it were changed or trimmed down.
Yeah, I too did not have the chance to see it in theaters, although I would very much have loved to. I was born in 1989. I do remember growing up in the 90s and how the series was quite popular though.
A theatrical re-release seems a bit unlikely to me, but I would totally shell out my money if it ever did happen.
